Organiser(s)

Dear PPS Members and Colleagues,

We are delighted to invite you to join us in Madrid to attend the 69th Meeting of the Paediatric Pathology Society held this year from September 14th to 16th. We will have the chance to gather face-to-face for the first time after the Covid Pandemic.

The scientific program will be comprehensive and focused on updating the widest array of paediatric and perinatal pathology topics through symposia; expert talks; discussion panels; case presentations by young pathologists; and paper presentations. This time we will have the honour to have our previous President, Professor Rita Alaggio, delivering the John Emmery Memorial Lecture. Besides the excellent scientific sessions, we are preparing for you a fantastic social program that we are sure you will enjoy the most.

For those unfamiliar with Spain, it will be an excellent occasion for a family holiday before or after the Meeting. Madrid, the capital of Spain, is a fantastic destination swiftly reachable from most cities across the globe. It is a cosmopolitan city that combines the most modern infrastructures, an extensive cultural and artistic heritage, and a legacy of centuries of exciting history. For dining and accommodation, Madrid can serve you the best restaurants, chefs, and hotels, many of them within walking distance from the venue.

The Hospital Niño Jesús will be the venue of the Meeting. The Hospital is in a vibrant city area, full of restaurants and amenities and just in front of the famous Retiro Park. It is well connected with the Adolfo Suarez Madrid Barajas International Airport by metro, bus or private transportation.

Apart from the fact that you will count on the hospitality of the Spanish people, you will have all the attention and disposition to help from the Meeting organization team.

All ingredients are present to make the 2023 PPS meeting an enjoyable, fruitful and unforgettable experience. We are confident that you'll take home many special memories.

We look forward to meeting you in Madrid!
