The 2022 PPS Meeting

Budapest - Hungary (virtual)

Organiser(s)

Beata Hargitai

It is a great honour and responsibility to host this much- awaited event, the date of which approaches very fast. Abstract submission has been opened and will close on the 25th July, registration is now open, and the scientific program is ready, submitted to the EMCME.

Budapest is a stunning venue for courses and meetings, but limitations of a virtual event challenged the Local Organiser how to demonstrate this. To enhance the local feeling of Hungary and our virtual presence in Budapest, we introduce a few new elements into the program:

  • The "Meet the Expert Session" will be hosted by invited speakers with a special link to Hungary
  • With our dedicated Webmaster, Greig Somerville, we have developed a "Social Corner" as a unique meeting website HERE! which is populated with hand-picked videos- vlogs presenting touristic attractions, culture, folklore, music and gastronomy and more… There is also a message board for comments and messages to great each other. This site can be visited before and after the meeting to allow time to explore and enjoy.
  • We have organised a social team- building event, a virtual Wine Tasting (8 September, 21.00 CET) for which you’ll need to register. You can find all information for the virtual Wine Tasting HERE!

We hope that the meeting will be successful and memorable, counting on your active participation and support, let’s make the most of it!

Hope to see you soon!

Kind regards,

Beata Hargitai
